9 – Tips on Christmas Campaigns on a budget

#12TipsforChristmasCampaigns

Within our #12TipsforChristmasCampaigns we have previously mentioned that you don’t need a huge budget to create your Christmas campaign.

Christmas is all about nostalgia. It’s about and feeling warm, cosy, excited, fun, social and sentimental.

It can even be about solving a problem, like how to fit 20 people around a table!

Most importantly it needs to scream CHRISTMAS 🎄.

So give your snow globe a shake and take a step back and think about how you want your product to make people feel over Christmas.

If your budget is limited here’s where you can save some money:

  • Use stock imagery and video
  • Create a user generated campaign
  • Create a design template that can be tweaked to look different each week
  • Avoid print if you can – that can be costly
  • Use social advertising and be really targeted
  • Use your own photography. It doesn’t have to be perfect (if you’re going for authentic), but your picture quality needs to be good!
  • Joint collaborations to promote each other

You really can create engaging, warm content on a budget, but make sure that you include this within you brief to your agency, so that they can be prepared to work with what you have.
