8 – Campaign Plan Delivery

#12TipsforChristmasCampaigns

Through your campaign planning you will have had some thoughts on the channels that you would like your fresh new creative content to be delivered on.

Now that you have selected your agency and sent them your brief you can now start detailing the delivery of your plan.

In order to do this you need to consider the following:

  • What social channels are you going to use?
  • Where will any video content be hosted?
  • Do you need a specific landing page on your website
  • Do you need to add links to your homepage?
  • Are there online advertising opportunities
  • Will your campaign involve direct mail?
  • Are there any OTP page advertising opportunities, if so have you booked this in?
  • Are there any relevant events to attend and promote your product/service?

Once you’ve complied all this into a detailed campaign plan (with estimated responses) you need to plan your delivery.

Each of these channels will have specific times that they are more effective. If, for example, you are using Facebook, look at the times with which your audience is most active and plan you campaigns around that.

You can also use Google analytics to define your audience activity further.

If you are scheduling GoogleAds, for example, you can also exclude times of the day that you don’t want to pay for clicks. For example for B2B you might want to only run your paid ads 9-5.

In summary, use all the tools that you have at your disposal to make clever, informed decisions, which, in the long run, will bring you more sales for less spend.

Once you have a detail view of this campaign, you need to decide if it’s doable for you and your team to deliver.

If not seek professionals or agencies that can help deliver your campaign, leaving you time to analyse results and respond where needed.
