Digital marketing, consultancy and training for education and career sectors.

Education · Training · Careers

Digital marketing for colleges, training providers and the skills sector.

A lot of education marketing goes quiet for months and then panics in August. We’d rather help you build something steadier. Ads, search, social and email that work together all year and get busier when your recruitment calendar says they should.

We work with FE colleges, independent training providers, apprenticeship teams and awarding bodies all over the UK. Each audience is unique. In the same week you might be talking to a 16-year-old, their mum, an adult thinking about retraining at 40 and an employer with levy money to spend, and none of them want to hear the same thing.

One thing worth saying up front. Clicks and likes don’t fill courses. We care about enquiries, applications and starts, and we set up the tracking so you can see where they came from.

Bar chart of a year in education marketing from September to August, busiest around enrolment and results days, with smaller peaks for open events, January starts and National Apprenticeship Week.

Planned around your recruitment calendar, and measured by the people who actually apply.

What we can help with

Ads, search, social and email that pull in the same direction.

Most clients use two or three of these. Very few need all six at once.

Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google

Paid social and search ads

Campaigns for open days, course launches and apprenticeship vacancies. You can’t target under-18s the way you can adults, so for school leavers the creative has to do more of the work, and it’s usually worth reaching parents as well. Employers and levy conversations mostly happen on LinkedIn. We’d rather run a modest budget well on two platforms than spread it thinly across five.

SEO and course pages

Search and course pages

Most people search for a course long before they see you on social. Something like “plumbing apprenticeship Peterborough”. We fix what’s stopping your course pages being found, then rewrite the ones that matter so they answer what learners actually ask. Entry requirements, start dates, cost, funding, and what it leads to. Slower than ads, but it keeps paying back.

Learners, parents, employers

Social media

Planning, posting and keeping an eye on the comments. Instagram and TikTok for younger learners, LinkedIn for employers and partners, and Facebook, which still does a surprising amount of work with parents and adult learners. We make the short video and graphics too, so you’re not stuck reposting the same stock photo of a student with a laptop.

Enquiry to enrolment

Email and enquiry follow-up

This is where we see the most leakage. Someone enquires in March, nobody follows up properly, and by September they’ve gone elsewhere. We set up sequences for people who’ve enquired but not applied, reminders before open days and deadlines, and newsletters for employers. We’ll work with whatever CRM or email platform you already have.

GA4 and tracking

Analytics and reporting

Conversion tracking, tagged links and a monthly report you can read in five minutes. We’ll also tell you when the numbers can’t tell you much, which happens more often than most agencies admit. People take months to choose a course, so attribution gets messy, and we’d rather be straight about that than dress it up.

For in-house teams

Digital marketing consultancy

If you already have the team and need a plan or an outside view, we’ll audit your ad accounts, analytics and course pages, tell you what’s working and what isn’t, and help you decide where the budget should go. A one-off audit, a session with your senior team, or regular check-ins while you put it into practice.

Our approach

How a project runs.

Four stages, and the last one feeds straight back into the first for your next intake.

  1. Step 01

    Look

We start with what you’ve already got. Ad accounts, analytics, course pages, last year’s enrolment figures. Quite often the biggest win is fixing something that’s already there.

  2. Step 02

    Plan

We map everything to your intakes and deadlines, agree budgets and channels, and decide up front what we’re going to measure.

  3. Step 03

    Make and run

We make the video, animation and graphics, launch the campaigns and check them every week, so money moves towards what’s working rather than waiting for the end of the month.

  4. Step 04

    Review

A short monthly report, and a proper look back after each recruitment cycle so the next one starts from what we learned.

Questions we get asked

Do we need a big ad budget?

No. Some of our best results have come from small, well-aimed budgets. What matters more is that the course pages and follow-up are in decent shape, otherwise you’re paying to send people somewhere that doesn’t convert.

Who owns the ad accounts?

You do. We’ll work inside your accounts, or set them up in your name if you don’t have them yet. If we ever part ways, everything stays with you.

How quickly will we see results?

Ads can start bringing in enquiries within a couple of weeks. Search takes months. If your September intake is the priority, talking to us in spring is a lot better than talking to us in July.

Can you work alongside our in-house team?

Yes, and it’s often how it works best. Some teams want us to take on the ads and reporting while they keep social, others want the opposite.

How much does it cost?

It depends on what you need, so we don’t publish rates. You’ll always know the cost before we start, and a 30-minute call is usually enough to work it out.
